Incarcerated Maine veterans have created art that explores their experiences with their First Amendment freedoms – the freedoms of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.

The exhibition is on view September 1- December 31, 2021, both online and in-person at the First Amendment Museum: 184 State St, Augusta, ME 04330 – directly beside the Governor’s Mansion. Gallery hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 – 4:00 pm. An opening reception for the exhibition will be held on Wednesday, September 8th, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
